Kathmandu Valley Tour ( 4 days)

Kathmandu, which is known as a living museum city, has been a cultural hub of Nepal for thousands of years. It is then not surprising that this city is preciously beautiful and there are numbers of short treks which can be done from here. Nagarkot trekking is one of the short treks from which we can experience a bit of trekking and can see the mountains, local countrysides, lifestyle of the people, culture etc.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival at international airport in Kathmandu where you will be welcomed by our representative and transferred to a hotel in Thamel.  Our guide will explain briefly the program of your tour upon your arrival at hotel.

Day 2: In Kathmandu
After having breakfast we begin our half day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley, visiting religious centers like Pashupatinath (Hindu Temple), nearby along the banks of the Bagmati River which is the cremation area for the dead. Bouddhanath which is most probably the largest stupa in the world and the famous center for Tibetan school of Buddhism followed by driving onto Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the medical city of devotes and the best preserved of all the ancients cities of Kathmandu Valley.  At the end of the day returns to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3: In Kathmandu
After breakfast we commence our day with Sightseeing tour to Kathmandu Valley visiting Kathmandu Durbar Square, the palace of the Malla Kings of Nepal and then the Shah Kings of Nepal. After that we visit Kumari Temple which is the house of the virgin goddess, visiting Swoyambhunath, a stupa on the top of hill from where you can overlook the scenery of Kathmandu Valley. We then visit Patan which is a famous city feature of arts and crafts; the highlight of trip is the Shikara (Krishna Temple), Patan Durbar Square with Royal bath, Hiranya Varna Mahavir (Buddhist Monastery). In the evening you will get back to Thamel with pleasant memories of the day and stay overnight.

Day 4: Departure transfer
On this day after having breakfast rest of the time is at leisure until the transfer to airport for your next destination.

This tour is a prestigious combination of mountain and jungle appreciation where you can see the breathtaking panorama of the Annapurna Mountains from Poonhill which is the famous place for trekking in Nepal. One of the most memorable experience will be drifting on a boat in the Fewa Lake with a backdrop of snow-caped mountain and drinking all the picturesque sights all the time. The Royal Chitwan National Park is situated 165 km overland or 25 minutes by air to the southwest of Katmandu is the richest safari destinations in Asia. It spreads over an area of 932 sq. km, it has unique ecosystem encompassing hills, ox-bow lakes, flood plains, tall grasslands and thick jungles dominated by Sal trees. Chitwan provides home to more than 40 species of wild animals, many of them are rare and endangered. They are the four hundred fifty Asian Rhino, One-Horned Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial Crocodile, Wild Elephant, Four-Horned Antelope, Striped Hyena and the Gangetic Dolphin. More than 450 species of birds like the Bengal Florican, Giant Hornbill, Crane, the Racket-Tailed Drongo and other exotic varieties have been successful to delight the bird watchers. Sightseeing on elephant-back, canoe rides on the rivers, jungle walks and village tours are included as jungle activities.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu, where you will be welcomed by our representative with wonderful hospitality, then you will be assisted to Acme Guest House. You will be provided a brief explanation of your tour program by our guide upon your arrival at hotel.

Day 2: In Kathmandu
After taking breakfast, start the day with an extensive pilgrimage tour, the first visit is at Pashupatinath Temple - one of the most sacred Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva. Bouddhanath which is most probably one of the largest stupas of the world and the famous center for Tibetan school of Buddhism followed by Patan. In the second visit, we take you to Patan, which is second largest town in the Kathmandu Valley, which means "City of Beauty" carrying its long Buddhist history. In the evening we come back to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara
Early in the morning, we drive to Pokhara in a tourist bus through scenic mountain terrain, its fame rests on the natural beauty of its lakeside location and its proximity to the mountains. Pokhara is the starting point for most of the famous treks in Nepal, and you can also have plenty of short walks and day trips, that can be done around the valley. Stay overnight at the hotel in Pokhara.

Day 04: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga (1540 m)
On this day you will be starting a trek for which you drive to Nayapul about one hour and start trekking after short walk of 15 minutes along the bank of the Modi Khola, we get to  Birethanti (1065m) a large village which has many shops & teahouses. The trail continues through the village. The trail follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola then the trail climbs steadily up to the side of the valley to Hile at 1495m & following the short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1525m. This trek provides a short & relatively relaxing day, during journey & allows us to experience the trekking in Nepal.

Day 05: Trek to Ghorepani (2967m)
Leaving Tikhedhunga, we start our journey with steep climb to Ulleri, which is a large Magar village at 2070m. After that the trail continues to ascend more gently through fine forests of oak & rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m. Then we trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m. After an hour walk we get to Ghorepani at 2775m.

Day 06: Punhill and back to Ghorepani and trek to Tadapani. (2630m)

This morning you will get up early in the morning, and go for hiking to Punhill (3190m) From here you will see superb view of sunrise, and panoramic view of Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Fishtail, and so on. After visiting Punhill, we will come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and continue walking to Tadapani.

Day 07: Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m)
This area is one of the finest and most famous trekking areas of Nepal. The Annapurna ranges and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) dominates the mountain views through glimpses farther east of Lamjung Himal and the Manaslu range. The trail descends through huge boulders into the maze of tracks around Ghandruk at 1940m.This is one of the finest village of the Annapurna region. You can see the wonderful view of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna south and Himchuli.

Day 08: Ghandruk to Pothana (1025m)
In the morning the trail descends through the small village and crosses the small bridge of Modi River. Then the trail ascends up to Landruk village (1565m) and after walking about 3 hours, we will reach to Pothana village and stay overnight.

Day 09: Pothana to Phedi to Pokhara

The trail descends to Phedi and drives back to Pokhara. We stay overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 10: Pokhara to Chitwan
After breakfast we begin the trip of day with driving to Chitwan (5 hours).  We arrive at Chitrasari where we will be received by a hotel representative. After that you will be taken to resort where you will be provided refreshments, given an explanation on resort & its facilities. After getting the brief explanation of a programme that we will be doing for the day your room will be separated and will be provided lunch. After that we will Visit the National Park Visitor's center where we will get to know more about the history of the National Park and about wildlife. Apparently, you will visit the Tharu village very nearby where you will get to be familiar with the lifestyles of the Tharu community.

Day 11: In Chitwan
Next day in the morning we will be served with breakfast. After that we will go for canoe ride along the Rapti river where you will have a good chance for bird watching and for seeing the 2 rare species of crocodiles: the Marsh Mugger and the fish eating Gharial then they would take you to real nature walk with different types of vegetation to get along with different types of flora and fauna. In the afternoon you can relax before taking lunch and after relaxing for sometimes you will be provided lunch. After you have a lunch you will see elephant breeding & bathing places. Elephant safari is an excellent opportunity to see four different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, monkeys, leopard, sloth bear and the Royal Bengal Tiger. You may also encounter with many small mammals of Chitwan. At the end of the program you will be provided a dinner in the evening.

Day 12: Chitwan to Kathmandu

You will be given a wakeup call with tea or coffee as per your choice served with breakfast and in the leisure time you can have bird watching for some moments until the time for the bus to Kathmandu. At the end of the day you will get to Kathmandu.

Day 13: In Kathmandu
You can pass this day as a leisure shopping and visiting the local places of Kathmandu

Day 14: Departure transfer

This is a last day of our trip and we take you to the airport for your final departure.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport, Kathmandu where you will be welcomed by our representative with hospitable meeting and then you will be assisted to our Hotel. Our guide will explain the brief program upon your arrival at hotel. Overnight stay at Acme Guest House, Thamel

Day 2: Kathmandu to Nagarkot
After having breakfast we drive to Bhaktapur, (world heritage site) the medical city of devotes and the most of all the ancients cities of Kathmandu Valley then drive to Changunarayan Temple one of the oldest wooden Temple in Nepal, (world heritage site) then you will be trekking from Changunarayan to Nagarkot around 04 hour. You will arrive in Nagarkot to see the sunset and can admire yourself by the breathtaking scenery of Himalaya sunset.  We stay overnight at Hotel View Point at the end of the day.

Day 3: Nagarkot to Dhulikhel to Kathmandu
It's an experience which should not be missed.  We wake up early in the morning to see the beautiful sunrise outlook from the View Point before having breakfast. Then commence a trek to Dhulikhel a beautiful part which surrounds Kathmandu valley where you will enjoy seeing the real way of life of mountain people. Around 6 to 7 hours trek in the mountain you will reach to Dhulikhel and our guide will arrange you a local bus to drive back to Kathmandu and stay overnight at Acme Guesthouse in Thamel.

Day 4: Departure Transfer
On this day we take you to the airport for your next destination.
